Since our bodies are signaled to wake up by the sun’s blue light, it isn’t surprising that blue light has health benefits. Therefore, opening the windows so that the sun can shine all throughout your bedroom is a good idea when you wake up. However, when it comes to being exposed to blue light from devices and at night, when we are supposed to be sleeping and preparing for sleep, this is extremely harmful.

Anybody studying or working in computer science or another technology-related field. The majority of the time that we spend in front of screens is on our devices. We are constantly exposed to blue lights, especially during the night. Each of us concentrates on a single task for about 4–5 hours. Due to this, we are experiencing eye strain, headaches, and sleeping issues.

No need to worry, you’re not alone. There are probably many people who are dealing with the same difficulties as you. but hey! Luckily I’ve got solutions for you.

Here are some solutions and reliable resources:

  • As I mentioned before, blue light is not always harmful. You can sleep better at night by getting the blue light of the sun, which boosts your concentration and alertness. So be sure to remember! You need to open your shades first thing in the morning so that the sunlight can filter throughout your room. https://t.co/EKpFmW8yRb?amp=1
  • There is a link between blue light and melatonin suppression. It’s a hormone that’s released in our brains to help us fall asleep at night. Make sure to turn off the screens at least two or three hours before going to sleep. I found this extremely helpful. https://t.co/aZfRxK9ZZz?amp=1
  • Do you suffer from headaches and eye strain, and you’re noticing it after spending a long time sitting at your computer or on your phone? Have you tried The 20–20–20 Rule? In its simplest form, this rule states that every 20 minutes, you have to look away from the computer for at least 20 seconds and 20 feet away. Alternatively, you can try eye strengthening exercises. You may also want to consider using eye lubricating drops if you will be working on your computer for a long time, and make sure you consult your doctor first. https://t.co/omB6gA9S9p?amp=1
  • Listed below are some eye strain-reduction exercises: https://t.co/HDRhXZheOc?amp=1
  • When you sit in front of your computer, place the monitors about an arm’s length away, like you could high-five the screen. https://t.co/4B7MDOcQSw?amp=1
  • You should never ignore night shifts and f.lux. Regardless of how ugly they appear, after a short time your eye will adjust to them and you’ll realize that blue screens are really harmful.
